Grief, I've learned, is really just love. It's all the love you want to give, but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in the hollow part of your chest."

Supportive Group Grief Therapy Services In Federal Way
We Can Spend Our Lives Tied to Two Pink Lines
You do not have to carry the ache of growing a family, mourning loss, and waiting for a BFP all by yourself.
You are already holding so much beneath the surface; the constant testing, the endless supplementation and medication schedules, every ritual and life-hack that has to work this cycle, and perhaps even the devastation of loss(es).
Trying to protect everyone else from your grief while holding yourself together is so demoralizing.
You show up to work, you show up for your friends and family, you celebrate other people's milestones with a generous smile, and manage everyday life while an invisible, crushing heartbreak lives in your chest.
If you do share your pain with the outside world, you are met with awkward silences, well-meaning advice, or silver linings that only make you feel more isolated because they just don’t get it.
A Dedicated, Expert-Led Space for Infertility and Loss
This is an intentional, clinically guided group therapy container built specifically for the complex reality of reproductive grief facilitated by a perinatal mental health therapist with over a decade of dedicated experience walking alongside families from the raw vulnerability of trying to conceive and fertility treatments, to the deep shock of miscarriage and stillbirth, to the anxiety-laden joy of parenting a rainbow baby, this space holds every single layer of your experience with clinical precision and deep reverence. Here, we do get it.
What We Work Towards:
Your nervous system finally gets to exhale. Step out of the chronic fight-or-flight state fueled by cycle tracking, medical appointments, and bracing for bad news. This is a space where we will work to release the tension.
Your grief is honored without being rushed. Speak the unspeakable truths, the jealousy, the rage, the sorrow, and the numbness, in a room that will never ask you to find the silver lining. Here, we all know what it is like to endure this.
You rebuild trust with your body. Untangle grief from self-blame, gently dismantling the subconscious belief that an outcome beyond your control represents a personal failure. We will work to break-free from the cycle of blame.
You learn to protect your peace. Develop practical, grounded language to navigate intrusive questions, family gatherings, and pregnancy announcements without depleting your emotional reserves.
You heal alongside true peers. Sit with people who speak your exact dialect of grief, where you never have to explain why a doctor's waiting room or an ordinary Tuesday feels impossible.
How Group Therapy Works for Reproductive Grief
Infertility and loss thrive on secrecy and shame. Individual therapy offers deep insight, couples therapy provides a fortified container to build strength into your relationship and group therapy breaks the specific curse of isolation from peers. Being in a room with individuals who have lived it rewires how safe it feels to be seen in your pain.
You set the pace. You will never be forced to share more than you are ready to, and your boundaries will always be respected.
Your Next Step
To protect emotional safety, clinical depth, and confidentiality, each cohort is kept intentionally small.
You do not have to wait until you are fully healed to seek support. Relief starts the moment you stop carrying this alone.
Click the button above to schedule a brief, no-pressure consultation. We will discuss your story, answer your questions, and ensure this group is the right clinical fit for your healing and provide referrals or other options if this would not be helpful.
"We are born in relationship, we are wounded in relationship, and we can be healed in relationship."

Our groups are engineered differently. Within our practice, group therapy is a highly structured, expertly facilitated environment designed for maximum impact.
Here is what to expect:
Expertly Guided: This is not a conversational free-for-all. Our clinicians actively drive the process, manage the pacing, and hold firm boundaries so you are never left out to dry in a group of strangers.
Curated Peers: You are meticulously matched with invested peers who understand your reality and challenge you to grow.
A "Living Laboratory": Insight alone doesn't change behavior. The group acts as a real-time practice ground to test out setting boundaries, communicating directly, and integrating the skills seamlessly into real interactions.
Absolute Discretion: We maintain uncompromising confidentiality, providing a secure space where busy people can gather safely and let their guard down. Violating confidentiality is cause for immediate dismissal.
It quickly becomes the one room in your week where you don't have to have all the answers or carry the load alone.
-
Here is how to determine the best fit for this season of your life:
Relational Individual Therapy: Uncover the "Why" A private, highly focused space to look inward, process acute burnout, and untangle the root causes of your drive to carry the weight of the world.
Couples Therapy: Transform Your Partnership A targeted space to drop your executive armor, balance the emotional load, and rebuild intimacy when chronic overfunctioning is eroding your connection at home.
Group Therapy: The "Living Laboratory" If individual therapy is where you figure out the why, group therapy is where you change the how. It is the best fit right now if:
You have insight, but lack change: You know you overfunction, but struggle to break the habit in daily life.
You need real-world practice: You want a safe place to practice setting boundaries and safely dropping your perfectionist mask.
You crave peer connection: You want to grow alongside high-caliber peers who truly understand the unique pressures of your reality.
The Bottom Line Look inward with individual therapy, repair your home life with couples therapy, or look outward and break old habits in real time with a group. (Note: Many of our most successful clients utilize a combination, using individual sessions to deeply process the insights that surface in group!)
What specific relational pattern are you hoping to change first?
-
Group therapy accelerates change by forcing you out of your head. You cannot just intellectualize your problems or give a polished summary of your week. You have to actively interact with the people in the room, it delivers results in four ways:
Exposes Blind Spots: It is much easier to recognize exhausting habits, like immediately jumping in to fix a stranger's problem, when you watch another group member do exactly the same thing.
Provides a Proving Ground: Talking about setting a boundary in private is easy. Actually looking someone in the eye and saying no takes practice. Group lets you build that skill in real time.
Breaks the Isolation: Carrying everything is lonely. Group therapy surrounds you with competent peers who are living under similar pressure.
Rewires Your Fears: A special form of healing happens when you finally let go of control. When you are able to witness another way of being and break free from the “stuck-ness”.

Yes! We are partnered with a phenomenal billing service that allows us to automate claims to your insurance.
We are “Out-of-Network” as insurance companies typically do not prioritize relational health, that said, most of our clients get 40-90% of their fees reimbursed and once your deductible is met for many insurance plans our biller floats the difference so only the copay is due out of pocket.
